Oct 15 : "Fukitol" - Stargazer Lillies

I was wandering around the internets looking for some music to go out and hear. I was cross-checking venue and band pages as I do to prepare for a "night out".

As I was doing my wandering, I came across a voice that sounded very familiar. It was that of Kim Field. But this was a band called "Stargazer Lillies". Kim had been vocalist of one of my all-time favorite bands, "Soundpool", which had seemed to have disappeared off the map a couple years ago. But was she singing in a new band? I looked deeper and saw that, yes, both she and John Cep had started up this new band, "Stargazer Lillies". And they were playing at Kung Fu Necktie with Dead Leaf Echo (mentioned in my previous blog).

I went and enjoyed their show and was glad to see Kim and John. Listening to Soundpool has brought me many happy hours.

Best Show Yet (Part 2)

Better than at Pilam! Better than at Rehab! Dead Leaf Echo's recent show at Kung Fu Necktie was definitely the best show I've seen them do.
