Philly Music!
Steve's brother-in-law, Paul, was in town for a little over a week. He came to the Fairmount Food Fight with us on Wednesday, where I and our other board members received community service awards. The Food Fight was a great event, but was over at 10pm, so I wanted to top off the evening with some live music.
While I was hoping to catch at least a little of Banned Books at Johnny Brenda's, we were too late. Headlining for the evening was Philly band "Laser Background". This was the first time either Paul or I had heard them. And it was the first time Paul had been to a music venue in Philly. We both enjoyed the show.
I would normally embed a sample of the band's music right here on my blog page at this point, but Laser Background has deactivated the ability for people to do that, so I'm just ending my comments here.
