Philly Music!
Where blues and garage meet is Philly band "Looseleaf", or "Looseleaf Trio" as they were formerly called until they added on a couple new members.
They did a great show at Ortlieb's a couple weeks ago. Even had some brass in one of the songs (I seem to be encountering more occasional brass within the last year or two).
In addition to the blues, other genres made appearances in the show, but the basic blues and rock were the main thrusts. Here's a good example of one of their songs, "Black Cadillac", which was released in November 2015.
